Safe welding in industrial environments with hazardous materials
Welding always involves some form of risk, but especially in an environment where hazardous materials are handled. With the Welding Habitats from ROG Habitat it is possible to seal off part of an installation by using overpressure. Hazardous materials cannot enter the Welding Habitat allowing for safe welding. Below we tell you more about it. If you have any questions or would like to make an appointment, please feel free to contact our representative.
Easily and quickly built by a system based on modules
The Welding Habitats from ROG Habitat are built on site from different panels. Because these are produced from fire retardant silicone coated fiberglass, the habitat can be used safely in almost any industrial situation. Furthermore, these are available in many types and sizes, so we can tailor it completely to the situation. Needless to say, we always take into account the applicable HSEQ requirements for the location in question.
Overpressure prevents inflow of hazardous materials
The flexible Welding Habitat of ROG Habitat is placed around the part of the installation to be worked on. The Habitats feature several pass-through options for pipes up to 106 centimeters in diameter. They may also be used for multiple pipes of smaller diameters. By using overpressure within the habitat, the feedthrough seals airtight around the piping and equipment passing through. This prevents gases and other hazardous materials from entering the habitat.
Whether welding needs to be done quickly for a repair, maintenance or the installation of new parts, a Welding Habitat from ROG Habitat allows it to be done safely. Contact a representative and find out the possibilities.
